Our staff consists of one Chief Librarian, one Library Assistant, one Chief Archivist, one Digitization & Preservation Officer, two Assistant Archivist and one receptionist & Cleaner. Unique Customs
Melanesian countries in the pacific share a culture bond, a bond that depicts building strong relationships through these important values, peace and unity.
All Melanesian countries have their unique custom of establishing peace and unity in their respective communities. They exchange their customs to unite everyone and established peace and harmony in our communities.
As portrayed in the picture, different customary materials are used, mats, pigs, pigs tasks, shell money, kava. Whatever valuable material is used the concept of building peace is still the same.
Each Melanesian country has its own unique custom of uniting or building peace among disgruntled communities or individuals. Though unique in their custom ceremonies the intention of building in unity and peace is always achieved. Together these countries share and exchanged their custom to build in peace unity and justice.
